How Can Buyers Verify CE Compliance When Sourcing LED Floodlights from China?

For European buyers sourcing LED floodlights from China, CE compliance is an important part of supplier evaluation. However, CE marking is not simply a single certificate . Buyers should verify the relevant conformity documents and ensure they apply to the actual product being purchased.

1. Check the EU Declaration of Conformity

Ask the supplier for the EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and verify:

  • Manufacturer name and address
  • Product model
  • Applicable EU requirements
  • Relevant standards
  • Issue date and signature
